Ab Ripper X: Getting Rock Hard Abs

Ab Ripper XMan o man was this ever a tough workout at first. I like how it’s suppose to be about 15 minutes but when I first started doing this exercise I had to pause it a lot. Not to mention some of the moves were just straight out confusing. I’ve checked out several other ab routines before this one but some of the moves were still new to me.

Honestly, I hated the days that I had to do Ab Ripper X because I knew my workout for the day was going to be longer than normal. Before even starting Ab Ripper X I had to take a half hour break to recover from whatever workout I did beforehand.

For example, one time I laid on the ground and basically took a nap for about half an hour because I was feeling so wasted from the workout before. Why Lose Workout?Every now and then I question rather or not I should skip a workout. It’s going to happen to a lot of people out there. It is a lot easier to do nothing than to actually get up and start doing something after all.

There’s nothing better than cardio to lose weight over time. But you can usually lose 1-2lbs in sweat instantly :)

Overall, this was my favorite and most hated exercise of P90X. I love it because it reminds me of Insanity but boy is it tiring. After the third 30 second break I’m already getting tired of all the jumping around. It doesn’t matter though because I took on p90x to bring it.

Anyways, Plyometrics reminds of Insanity because it is all cardio and I love being active (well since I lost all the extra pounds). I love sweating and I love feeling like I’m about to collapse. Not to mention all the sweat that just pours out of your pores letting you know that you’re there to bring it.

At the end of this workout you should be ready to just pass out on the floor from all the hard work that you’ve just completed and all the calories that you’ve just burned.

Feeling Better with Yoga X: Following the Exercise Plan

Yoga XYoga X was the hardest home exercise I’ve ever completed. Not because it was difficult but because it’s not as active as I usually like my workouts to be. It was mentally challenging.

Remember, before starting P90X, I did Insanity with Shaun T so I was used to jumping around and being super charged. Yoga X, however, had nothing to do with kicking butt and taking names.

Instead it was very much the opposite of a workout and was something to calm oneself with (peace of mind).

Insanity was an amazing fat burning exercise program for me. It got me out of a plateau that I was stuck in for a few months and I was finally starting to see some physical change.

After completing my 60 days of intense workouts, I knew I had to continue working out in order to keep all the progress I had made so far.

Like the old saying goes, you either use what you have or you lose it. Well I not only wanted to keep what I had worked hard to get but also keep improving my health and how I look.
