9 Tips to Not Stress Out During the Holidays
The Holiday season is the best time of year to spend with your family and to appreciate life. 
It’s a also a time that many people normally stress over. While there’s a lot to be thankful for, there’s also a lot on our minds that “needs” to get done.
Christmas shopping… taking care of children… last minute shopping… relatives… traveling… crowded malls… finances…
There’s so much going on that it’s hard to keep track of everything some times…
Here are 9 great tips to help you have a little less stress during your holiday season.
And no… these are not tips like “not spending more than you can afford” and “get some exercise” or “spend some time with yourself” or any number of activities that if you could do, you wouldn’t be stressed out in the first place.

One night my friends asked me to go out to Denny’s and one of them told me something that I’m still trying to wrap my mind around. It was logical yet not logical at the same time… If that makes sense.
Here’s how my great conversation started. My friend asked me what I eat now since I’ve been “dieting” for a while at that time. I went on to explain that it’s not really dieting because what I’m eating now is due to a life change.
I see dieting as being temporary. I on the other hand am eating healthier for life, well that’s the goal.
Anyways, my friend said that she’s going to continue to eat whatever she wants because she doesn’t “have high blood pressure yet“.
My natural response was to ask “YET???… Is high blood pressure a goal for you?”

Every now and then I question rather or not I should skip a workout. It’s going to happen to a lot of people out there. It is a lot easier to do nothing than to actually get up and start doing something after all.
For me, I have no one holding me liable. No one to get on my case and no one to ask me if I did my workout or even if I ate healthy. It would be pretty easy for me to just throw in the towel every now and then.
